BARNABAS FUND INTERNATIONAL
The Barnabas Fubnd provides practical and financial aid to help Christians suffering discrimination, oppression and persecution as a consequence of their faith.
Here at BCF we support the following organisations prayerfully and financially:
CARING FOR LIFE REGIONAL
CfL is a Leeds-based charity whose aim is to share the love of Jesus with homeless or vulnerable people by providing accomodation, ongoing support, love and friendship, and when necessary, providing that care for life.
CHRISTIAN INSTITUTE NATIONAL
The Christian Institute is committed to upholding the truths of the Bible and aims to help Christians answer the challenges of living in an increasingly secular society and enable them to be a Christian influence in a secular world.
KINGFISHER CAFE LOCAL
The Kingfisher Cafe in Bridlington cares for the needy and homeless in the area by providing hot meals, food parcels and other necessities.
BCF is affiliated to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches or FIEC.
FIEC is a fellowship of over 600 independent churches across England, Scotland and Wales. The mission of FIEC is to see those churches working together to reach Britain for Christ.
Harvest Collection 2020
Our fantastic congregation donated £220.00 for our Harvest offering to buy food gifts to support the work of Kingfisher Cafe here in Bridlington in providing meals and food parcels for the needy and homeless. During the COVID-19 crisis they are providing a take-away meals service and have seen an increase in the numbers of people seeking help and support. We purchased and delivered those food gifts on 17th October.
