Read below to find out more about what the Bible says about you and your relationship with God.
God made the world and everything in it, and God knows everything too. He knows how many stars there are in the sky and He even knows how many hairs there are on your head!
Before you were born, God knew all about you. He knew what would happen each day of your life. He knows when you get up, when you go out to work and when you go to sleep at night.
God also knows when you want, think, say and do bad things. God calls these bad things sin and everyone who sins has to be punished.
But God loves us so much that He thought of a way that we would not need to be punished. He sent His Son Jesus to earth to take our place and accept our punishment.
Jesus came to our earth and was crucified,
for all our sins He has paid.
And if you put your trust in Him
then you too can be saved.
We can live as God’s friends if we believe that Jesus did this for us, if we trust in Him and if we follow His way for living.
God promises that EVERYONE who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans Chapter 10, verse 13)
If you do believe this, then you can say the simple prayer below to invite Jesus into your heart and ask Him to help you to follow Him.
Dear God, I am so glad that you know all about me. I am sorry that I have wanted and thought and said and done bad things. Thank you for sending Jesus to take my place and be punished for me. I want Jesus to live in my heart and help me to follow your way for living every day. Amen.
