Bridlington is a seaside town situated on the east coast of Yorkshire, approximately 24 miles north of Hull. It maintains a working harbour and is well-known for its shellfish. Bridlington has a long history as a seaside resort and offers many accommodation options for the holiday visitor including hotels, guest houses, B&Bs, self-catering apartments and caravan sites. Attractions include the South Beach, the Spa Theatre, funfairs, the East Riding Leisure Centre, the Bayle and Harbour Heritage Museums, Bondville Model Village, Sewerby Hall and Gardens and the nearby Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve. Bridlington Old Town is famous for being used as the location for Walmington-on-Sea in the 2016 'Dad's Army' film.
